Chuck Webb started his career at Center Stage, an under 21 club in Center Township. Playing for a crowd that averaged 1,200 people on Saturday nights, owner Bob Liberati then opened The Getaway Lounge in what was Gee Bee Plaza in Center Township. During the week at that club Chuck was playing to the older crowd as the "oldies night" became popular there. Through this Chuck became well-known throughout Beaver County. He then went on to play at several Beaver County hotspots, which included Martini's
Lounge (which then became McKnights, then Edna May's, then Good Spirits, all in the same decade), Charlie's Courtside , Maxim D's, The Rock House on Route 8 near Slippery Rock, and Humphrey's in the Beaver Valley Mall. In 1984, Chuck added music videos to his repertoire to tie in with the popularity of MTV and music videos. Yes, MTV used to be a music video channel. This opened doors in Pittsburgh, playing every Tuesday night at Gullifty's in Caste Village in Castle Shannon, Zelda's on Thursday night in Oakland, next to the Original Hot Dog Shop, a teen night on The Gateway Clipper on Monday night, and Frisco Firehall's teen dances on Sunday night. While doing this, Saturday nights were dedicated to wedding receptions. Also, many proms and college events were on the schedule on a regular basis and a steady New Year's Eve gig at The Fez in Hopewell for 22 straight years. Chuck Webb is a full-time, fully insured dj/entertainment company keeping dancefloors full at weddings, colleges, bar / batmitzvahs , clubs and corporate events along with offering drive-in movie nights and karaoke.
